BT Conferencing lead the world in supplying video conferencing services and are the biggest player in the UK's conferencing services market. They provide audio, video, web and streaming collaboration services.
Why does this help them to sell more or do more?
By using technology to meet the challenge, the productivity of the sales team was improved – making them more effective. In practical terms:
- The ease of this tool means that the sales teams aren't spending unnecessary time hunting out sales documents; they're spending more time with their customers
- Information sharing has improved between sales and marketing – now sales know the resources are there, they use them
What did they want?
A tool to make it easy for sales people to search for, access and feedback on sales documents from across the business.
What did we do to help them sell more and do more?
We built them a one-stop shop where documents can be downloaded from a user-friendly interface. We split the tool into propositions, regions and document types, giving the sales team more chance to get the documents they needed on the first search. We made it easy to gather feedback on documents through the tool, so teams can knowledge share and highlight documents that they've found useful. We also linked the new application directly to their SharePoint site, so the documents didn't need to be uploaded twice. And all they needed to do was add a link from their SharePoint site into the application and it automatically linked.
